Each quote you will be provided with a square meter break down of materials and labour to make it clear on what you are paying for. If the roof is over a living area I will check to see if it's insulated and go through all the options to make sure you get the right system for you. When stripping a flat roof you never know what you'll find when it comes to the boards, so on the quote there will be the cost for replacing any rotten boards.

EPDM

Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer, or EPDM, is a synthetic rubber that is extremely durable and used across a variety of applications. EPDM is heat and weather resistant with its two main ingredients derived from natural gas and oil, making it an ideal flat roofing material.

Traditional Mineral Felt

Built up felt roofing consists of two to three layers of bitumen sheet that have been bonded together using either hot bitumen or adhesive. Flat felt roofing is economical but has a tendency to crack as it ages and the temperature changes.
